Diana Bajoie
Diana E. Bajoie is an American politician from Louisiana. She was the first African-American woman to be elected to the Louisiana state Legislature. She served as a state representative from 1976 to 1991, then as a state Senator 1991–2008. The Louisiana State Legislature (french: Législature d'État de Louisiane) is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Louisiana. It is a bicameral body, comprising the lower house, the Louisiana House of Representatives with 105 representatives, and the upper house, the Louisiana State Senate with 39 senators.
