Diamond Men
''Diamond Men'' is a 2000 film, a crime drama starring Robert Forster and Donnie Wahlberg. The independent film was written and directed by Dan Cohen, and was screened at the Hamptons International Film Festival in October 2000. It was released to select theatres in the US on September 14, 2001. Plot Eddie Miller (Robert Forster) is a traveling salesman, servicing towns in Pennsylvania. He sells diamonds and jewelry to 'Mom & Pop' one of a kind stores. In the business for thirty years, he is weary of the grind after recovering from a heart attack, the recent death of his wife, and the corporate take-over that he senses will eliminate his employment. He is a 'liability', a dinosaur. A last task: train his replacement, Bobby Walker (Donnie Wahlberg). This is a 'road' film, 'buddy' film, and 'coming-of-age' film as the plot unfolds. Robert Forster
Robert Wallace Forster Jr. (July 13, 1941 – October 11, 2019) was an American actor, known for his roles as John Cassellis in ''Medium Cool'' (1969), Captain Dan Holland in ''The Black Hole'' (1979), Abdul Rafai in ''The Delta Force'' (1986), and Max Cherry in ''Jackie Brown'' (1997), for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. George Coe
George Coe (born George Julian Cohen; May 10, 1929 – July 18, 2015) was an American actor. He was a cast member for the first season of ''Saturday Night Live'' and voiced the character of Woodhouse in ''Archer''. Early life Coe was born in Jamaica, Queens, New York. Shannah Laumeister Stern
Bertram Stern (October 3, 1929 – June 26, 2013) was an American commercial photographer. Biography Stern was the son of Jewish immigrants and grew up in Brooklyn. His father worked as a children's portrait photographer. After dropping out of high school at the age of 16, he gained a job in the mail room at '' Look'' magazine. He became art director at ''Flair'' magazine, where Stern learned how to develop film and make contact sheets, and started taking his own pictures. In 1951, Stern was drafted into the United States Army, sent to Japan and assigned to the photographic department. In the 1960s, his heavy use of amphetamines led to the end of his marriage to ballerina Allegra Kent. He was one of the last photographers to shoot Marilyn Monroe, in June and July 1962 for Vogue magazine. Monroe died in August 1962.
