Dia Saba (sometimes Sabi'a or Seba, ar, ضياء سبع, he, דיא סבע; born 18 November 1992) is an Israeli professional association football, footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Israeli Premier League club Maccabi Haifa F.C., Maccabi Haifa. Early life Saba was born in Majd al-Krum, Israel, to a Muslim Arabs, Muslim-Arab family. He is a cousin of former footballer Ahmad Saba'a. Career Saba began his career with the youth selections of Hapoel Haifa F.C., Hapoel Haifa, and later moved to Beitar Nes Tubruk F.C., Beitar Nes Tubruk. In summer 2011, Saba joined Maccabi Tel Aviv F.C., Maccabi Tel Aviv and played under manager Motti Ivanir. However, he made only two appearances over four months, and in January 2012 was subsequently loaned to Hapoel Be'er Sheva F.C., Hapoel Be'er Sheva until the end of the season. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), officially known as Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs. It is the top-flight of the Turkish football league system and is run by the Turkish Football Federation. Ahmad Saba'a (or Ahmed Saba, ar, أحمد سبع, he, אחמד סבע; born 24 May 1980) is an Arab-Israeli former footballer. Biography Ahmad Saba'a was born in Majd al-Kurum, Israel, to a Muslim-Arab family. His cousin Dia Saba'a is a footballer as well.In 2010, Saba'a founded his own football school, operating in his hometown of Majd al-Kurum. The school has 180 protégés and its main goal is to bring local talent from Majd al-Kurum to the second and first division leagues in Israel.
