Dhurala
''Dhurala'' is a Marathi entertainment political drama film released in 2020 starring Ankush Chaudhari, Alka Kubal, Sai Tamhankar, Siddhartha Jadhav, Sonalee Kulkarni in lead roles with ensemble cast consisting of Amey Wagh, Umesh Kamat, Prasad Oak and many more. The film is directed by Sameer Vidwans and written by Kshitij Patwardhan and revolves around the story of gram panchayat elections in a small village in Maharashtra. Plot Ambegaon is a small village in Maharashtra and the sarpanch Nivrutti "Anna" Ubhe, of the gram panchayat, dies while the new elections are approaching. His eldest son Navnath "Dada" Ubhe runs their family business and considers himself as heir apparent for the sarpanch position and decides to run in the elections. Opposition leader, Harish Gadhwe, is furious over his last loss; but now thinks he has good chance of winning since Dada is new to politics. The Filmfare Marathi Awards are presented annually to both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Marathi film industry of India. The ceremony had been sponsored by various private organisations in the past as well as in present provisions. During several years in 1990s, a live ceremony was broadcast to television audiences but was later discontinued due to unknown reasons. Kshitij Patwardhan
Kshitij Patwardhan (born 11 January 1985) is an Indian screenwriter, theatre director, playwright, and lyricist. He received Filmfare award for best screenplay in 2018, Filmfare award for best lyrics in 2020, along with the prestigious Tarun tejankit award 2019. He is also the recipient of multiple Maharashtra state awards, zee gaurav, MIFTA and Star pravah Ratna for his outstanding contribution to Marathi cinema. Siddhartha Ramchandra Jadhav (born 23 October 1981) is an Indian actor, entertainer and comedian from Sewri, Maharashtra. He has acted in television, Marathi and Hindi films. He has acted in several Bollywood movies like '' Golmaal'' and ''Golmaal Returns'' but he asserts that his first love is Marathi film, TV and stage.
