''Dhumm'' is a 2002 Indian Kannada action drama film directed by M. S. Ramesh, starring Sudeep and Rakshita. The film features background score and soundtrack composed by Gurukiran and lyrics by Kaviraj and V. Nagendra Prasad. The film released on 27 September 2002. It was a critical and commercial success. The film was dubbed in Telugu as ''Hero No.1'' and in Hindi as ''Dumdaar''. The film is a remake of the Tamil film ''Dheena'' (2001) by A. R. Murugadoss. Plot The protagonist Varada (Sudeep) is like a fire when the injustice comes in front of him. His heart is equivalent to ice cream otherwise. Rangayana Raghu
Kotturu Chikkarangappa Raghunath (born 17 April 1965), known by his screen name Rangayana Raghu, is an Indian film and stage actor, known for his work in Kannada cinema. Portraying mostly comic and negative-shaded characters, he has appeared in over 250 films. Prior to acting in films, he worked as a stage actor with B. V. Karanth's theatre group Rangayana, from 1988 to 1999. He made his debut in films in 1995 with ''Suggi'', which got shelved. Sumithra (actress)
Sumithra (born 18 September 1953) is an Indian actress. She has appeared in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu language films. She acted as the lead heroine in films between 1974 and 1986. She later started being known for her roles as a mother since the 1990s. Early life Sumithra was born on 18 September 1953 to Raghavan Nair and Janaki at Thrissur, Kerala. ''Dheena'' is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by then-debutante A. R. Murugadoss, starring Ajith Kumar, Suresh Gopi, in his Tamil debut, and Laila. The music and background score is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by K. Aravind. It was released on 14 January 2001. Hariharan (born 3 April 1955) is an Indian playback, bhajan and ghazal singer who predominantly sings in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages.
