''Dhoon'' (Tune or Passion) is a 1953 Bollywood film directed by M. Kumar. The film was produced by Silver Kings, a production company formed by Kumar and his then wife, actress Pramila. The film stars Raj Kapoor, Nargis, Motilal, Kumar, Pramila, E. Bilmoria, Leela Mishra and Kamal Mehra. Mehra was a lesser known comedian who started his career in 1951 with ''Naujawan''. He went on to act in several films before starting his own production company Pride Of India under which he made films like '' Kismat'' (1968), '' Mahal'' (1969) and ''Naami Chor'' (1977). Madan Mohan Kohli (25 June 1924 – 14 July 1975), better known as Madan Mohan, was an Indian music director of the 1950s, 1960s and the 1970s. Zohrabai Ambalewali (1918 – 21 February 1990) was an Indian classical singer and playback singer in Hindi cinema in the 1930s and 1940s. She was considered one of the most popular female playback singers of early and mid 1940s. She is best known for her contralto or low voice range singing in the film songs, "Ankhiyan Milake Jiyaa Bharmaake" and "Aai Diwali, Aai Diwali" in 1944 hit ''Rattan'' (1944), with music by Naushad, and "Uran Khatole Pe Ud Jaoon", duet with Shamshad Begum in ''Anmol Ghadi'' (1946), also under Naushad's music direction. Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer and musician. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Bharat Vyas (1918–1982) was a noted Indian lyricist who wrote the songs for Hindi films in 1950s and 1960s. Biography Bharat Vyas was born in Bikaner in British India on 06 January 1918 in Pushkarna Brahmin family. He studied B.Com. at Calcutta and after completing his studies he came to Bombay. His first film as lyricist was '' Duhaai'' (1943). He was the writer of the prayer song, ‘Ae Malik Tere Bande Hum’ and ' Ye Kaun Chitrakar Hai'. He directed a Bollywood film '' Rangila Rajasthan'' (1949) for which he wrote the lyrics and composed three songs.
