Dhoadhi
''Dhoadhi'' is a Maldivian web series directed by Ali Seezan. It stars Ahmed Easa, Ansham Mohamed, Aminath Noora and Mohamed Rasheed in main roles. The pilot episode of the first season was released on 14 April 2022 and was concluded on 21 July 2022. It consists of fifteen episodes, each of approximately 20 minutes. The series follows the fate of two troubled humans and how fate makes them cross the sea to attain the love and affection they desire. Mariyam Waheedha
Mariyam Waheedha (born 5 September 1984) is a Maldivian film actress and a news editor. Career Prior to her acting career, Waheedha worked as a news editor. She made her film debut in the Ravee Farooq-directed web series ''Ehenas,'' where she portrayed the character Zidhu, a colleague of a bullied and sexually abused male victim. Her performance and the series received mainly positive reviews from critics. Aishath Maahaa reviewing for ''Dho?'' wrote: "Considering heis a , hehas done an outstanding job in the series". Fathimath Latheefa
Fathimath Latheefa is a Maldivian film actress. Career Prior to acting, Latheefa appeared in advertisements and small roles in few television drama series distributed by VTV. In 2019, she made her film debut in Ilyas Waheed's psychological thriller film ''Bavathi'' (2019), where she played the role of Zulfa, the mother hated by her daughter being accused of disrespecting her disabled husband by having an affair with another man. The film narrates the story of a woman who relocates to Male' after marriage and the strange incidents that follow afterwards. Ali Seezan
Ali Seezan (born 6 February 1977) is a Maldivian film actor, editor, director and producer. He has established a career in Maldives Film Industry and is a recipient of two National Film Awards. Early life Ali Seezan was born on 6 February 1977. His parents Fathimath Waheeda and Abdul Rasheed are not active members of the film industry, though his father has worked in arranging stage shows for many events. He completed his studies at Madhrasathul Ameer Ahmed and Majeediyya School. He is a nephew of Maldivian actor and politician Reeko Moosa Manik. Ahmed Easa
Ahmed Easa (born 7 October 1985) is a Maldivian film actor. Career In his childhood, Ahmed Easa watched Bollywood films and imitated the acting of Sunil Shetty in stage performances. While watching his movies, Easa grew a fondness towards cinema and decided to pursue a career in acting "if granted with a chance worth holding for". He was first offered a role in Amjad Ibrahim's romantic horror film ''Udhabaani'' (2009) but he rejected it since he was "too shy to be in front of the camera with his current physique". However, he made his film debut two years later with Hamid Ali's ''Laelaa'' (2011) co-starring Yoosuf Shafeeu, Amira Ismail and Ali. Aminath Noora
Aminath Noora (born 11 February 1986) is a Maldivian actress. Career In 2004, Noora made her screen debut with a video single directed by Mohamed Niyaz and rendered by Fazeela Amir. Titled "Jaadhooga Jeheyney", the song topped several charts and was a hit, resulting in another video collaboration with Niyaz. Titled "Visnaa Visnaa", the song marks the first Maldivian single aired through MTV (India). Mohamed Rasheed (2 April 1964), professionally known as Dharaa Rasheed, is a Maldivian film actor, cinematographer, producer and director. Early life At the age of twelve, Rasheed along with his friends, Sodhiq and Kashima Ahmed Shakir, used to spend most of their times at his place, singing, playing table tennis and undertake Urdu classes. Ali Azim is a Maldivian film actor. Career 2010–2016: Early releases Azim expressed his interest in acting at a very young age. Before he pursued a career in acting Azim worked as a dancer and stage performer. He was first recognized by the audience for his facial expressions while dancing. While working in the Animation Dance Group, the team made a short children's film ''Lollypop'' with "no serious intention but for entertainment".
