Dharma Chakkaram
''Dharma Chakkaram'' () is a 1997 Tamil-language action drama film, directed by K. S. Ravikumar, starring Vijayakanth, Rambha and Deepti Bhatnagar. The film, produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers and had musical score by Deva. It was released on 14 January 1997 to nagative reviews. Plot Chakkaravarthy (Vijayakanth), chief of the village manages the problems that endures the villagers. His past is marked by Vijayalakshmi (Deepti Bhatnagar), that they were to marry each other. Arumugam (B. H. Tharun Kumar), a jealous enemy of Chakkaravarthy, challenges. What Chakkaravarthy accepts as long as he gives something. Arumugam puts on a fight competition only if he loses Vijayalakshmi to him in marriage. Confident, she orders to win him against Arumugam. Narayanan Vijayaraj Alagarswami (born 25 August 1952), better known by his stage name Vijayakanth, is an Indian politician and former actor who has worked predominantly in Tamil cinema. He was the Leader of the Opposition in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Before entering politics Vijayakanth was a successful actor, producer and director. Ramesh Khanna (also spelt as Ramesh Kanna) is an Indian actor and film director who has worked in Tamil cinema. He has acted in a number of supporting and comedian roles. Suvaluxmi (born 19 August 1977) is a former Indian actress who predominantly appeared in Tamil films. She also appeared in Bengali, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada films.
