Dharambir Agnihotri
Dharambir Agnihotri (13 March 1946 – 27 August 2022) was a member of the Indian National Congress party. He was the member of Punjab Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Tarn Taran Assembly Constituency between 2017 and 2022. He was a doctor by training and worked at his hospital named Agnihotri Hospital in village Sheron Tarn Taran. Agnihotri was elected to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the first time in 2017. Remained General Secretary Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, Chandigarh and President District Congress Committee Tarn Taran. He also held the office as Member of the Estimate Committee of Punjab Vidhan Sabha (2017-18) and member of Committee on Estimates of Punjab Vidhan Sabha (2018-19). A Legislative Assembly election was held in the Indian state of Punjab on 4 February 2017 to elect the 117 members of the Fifteenth Punjab Legislative Assembly. A Jantar Mantar ( Hindustani pronunciation: ͡ʒən̪t̪ər mən̪t̪ər is an assembly of stone-built astronomical instruments, designed to be used with the naked eye. There were five Jantar Mantars in India, all of them built at the command of the Rajah Jai Singh II, who had a keen interest in mathematics, architecture and astronomy; The largest example is the equinoctial sundial belonging to Jaipur's assembly of instruments, consisting of a gigantic triangular gnomon with the hypotenuse parallel to the Earth's axis. On either side of the gnomon is a quadrant of a circle, parallel to the plane of the equator. Captain Amarinder Singh
Captain Amarinder Singh (born 11 March 1942), is an Indian politician, military historian, former royal and Indian Army veteran who served as the 15th Chief Minister of Punjab. A former Member of the Legislative Assembly, Punjab and Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, he was also the president of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee. He has also previously served as the Chief Minister of Punjab from 2002 to 2007 and 2017 to 2021. His father was the last Maharaja of the princely state of Patiala.
