Dharam Pal Singh Malik
Dharampal Singh Malik (born 13 May 1943) in a small village, Bidhal Tehsil Gohana, Sonipat District of Haryana. He was a member of the 8th Lok Sabha (1984–1989), representing the Sonipat (Lok Sabha constituency). Later, he was elected to the 10th Lok Sabha (1991–1996). He was the President of the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (1992–97). He also became a Member of legislative assembly from Gohana (2005–2008). He completed his Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Laws (BA, LLB) from the University of Delhi, and he also studied from DB High School Bhainswal Kalan, Sonipat, Arya College, Panipat. Sonipat
Sonipat is a city, municipal corporation and administrative headquarter in Sonipat district of Haryana state of India. It comes under the National Capital Region and is around from New Delhi. It is also around 214 km (128 miles) southwest of Chandigarh, the state capital. The Yamuna River runs along the eastern boundary. On 22 December 1972, Sonipat was created a full-fledged district. Sonipat Junction railway station is the main railway junction on Delhi-Kalka line. A Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) is a representative elected by the voters of an electoral district (constituency) to the legislature of State government in the Indian system of government.
