''Dhamaal'' () is a List of Bollywood films of 2007, 2007 Cinema of India, Indian Bollywood, Hindi-Hindi, language comedy film directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ashok Thakeria. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary and Javed Jaffrey in the lead roles while Asrani, Sanjay Mishra (actor), Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Pahwa, Tiku Talsania and Prem Chopra are featured in supporting roles. It is heavily inspired from the 2001 American comedy film ''Rat Race (film), Rat Race'' directed by Jerry Zucker (which in turn was inspired by Stanley Kramer's 1963 classic It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World). ''Total Dhamaal'' (also known as ''Dhamaal 3'') is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language adventure comedy film directed and written by Indra Kumar and loosely based on the 1963 Hollywood film ''It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World'' with some scenes borrowed from the 2015 film ''Vacation'', and '' Blended''. Being a third part of ''Dhamaal'' franchise, it is produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms, Markand Adhikari (Sri Adhikari Brothers), Fox Star Studios, Maruti International, Pen India Limited and Mangal Murti Films. ''Double Dhamaal'' (also known as ''Sequel of Dhamaal'') () is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language comedy film and a sequel to the 2007 hit film ''Dhamaal'', and the second installment of '' Dhamaal film series''. The film is directed and produced by Indra Kumar and also produced by Ashok Thakeria. Sanjay Dutt, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary and Javed Jaffrey reprise their roles from the previous films, with Kangana Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat as new additions. The theatrical trailer of the film was revealed on 6 May 2011 along with the film ''Haunted''. The film released on 24 June 2011.
