Dewa Made Beratha
Dewa Made Beratha (born July 12, 1941 in Gianyar, Bali) is the former governor of Bali. He is a member of the PDI-P, and allied to Megawati Sukarnoputri. On 2008 Balinese Governor Election, Beratha has been replacing by Made Mangku Pastika. Early life He received his degree from Gajah Mada University in Social Politic Faculty. Work He started his career in 1967 as Secretary Officer of Bangli Regency. From 1968 he was the Relieving Mayor of Bangli for another two years. He was a member of parliament and the Bali government from 1970 to 1998. In 1998, he was elected to his first term as Governor of Bali, and in 2003 he was elected for his second term. Bangli Regency
Bangli Regency is the one and only landlocked regency ('' kabupaten'') of Bali, Indonesia. It covers an area of 520.81 km2 and had a population of 215,353 at the 2010 Census and 258,721 at the 2020 Census. Its regency seat is the town of Bangli. Up until 1907, Bangli was one of the nine kingdoms of Bali. The capital has a famous Hindu temple, the Pura Kehen, which dates from the 11th century. Bangli also has one village, lies surround a hill, Demulih. Geography The northern part of the district includes the main road to the north coast passing through Kintamani and around the crater in which Gunung Batur sits. The Balinese people ( id, suku Bali; ban, ᬳᬦᬓ᭄ᬩᬮᬶ, anak Bali) are an Austronesian ethnic group native to the Indonesian island of Bali. The Balinese population of 4.2 million (1.7% of Indonesia's population) live mostly on the island of Bali, making up 89% of the island's population.
