Devrim Yakut
Seher Devrim Yakut (born 27 May 1968) is a Turkish actress. Life and career Yakut graduated from Ankara University DTCF Theatre Department in 1992. She first studied theatre theories and then acting in the DTCF Theatre Department. She joined the Adana State Theatre as an actress in 1994 and worked there until 2003. She subsequently founded the Adana Theatre Workshop. In addition to acting, she also worked as a producer and instructor in this institution. She was appointed to Ankara State Theatre in 2003. In 2005, she started teaching basic acting at Ankara University DTCF Theatre Department. She worked as the deputy director of the Ankara State Theatre in 2007, and the director of the Ankara State Theatre in 2007–2008. Murathan Mungan (born 21 April 1955 in Istanbul) is a Turkish author, short story writer, playwright, and poet. Biography Mungan's family originates from Mardin. His father is an Arab and mother is a Bosniak. After receiving his BA from the Faculty of Letters and Drama at Ankara University, he worked as a dramaturg before devoting all his time to writing poetry, plays, short stories, novels, film scenarios, and songs. ''Have You Ever Seen Fireflies?'' ( tr, Sen Hiç Ateşböceği Gördün mü?, link=no) is a play written by Yılmaz Erdoğan. A feature film based on the play was released in 2021 via Netflix, directed by Andaç Haznedaroglu and starring Yılmaz Erdoğan, Ecem Erkek and Engin Alkan. Production Erdoğan began writing the play while he was serving at the Air Force Academy. It was performed for the first time on 23 January 1999 at the Beşiktaş Cultural Center in Istanbul. Erdoğan was given a day's leave to attend the premiere. The play had a cast of 17 people and was released with the sponsorship of Telsim. During its run in Istanbul it was staged 97 times between 23 January 1999 and 23 May 1999.
