It is located just north of the junction of Interstate 15 and Interstate 215, about 12 miles northwest of downtown San Bernardino. Josh Devore
Joshua M. Devore (November 13, 1887 – October 6, 1954), was a professional baseball player who played outfielder in the major leagues from –. He would play for the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Giants, and Boston Braves. Devore resided in Seelyville, a small community in Vigo County, Indiana during his early pro baseball career, getting his start in what was known as the Trolley League in Terre Haute, Indiana. Due to his quickness, Josh was known as "The Seelyville Speed Demon." In his prime, Devore was an expert bunter and baserunner who was adept at drawing walks, and he was an effective leadoff man for the Giants' pennant-winners of 1911 and 1912. Early life Born as Alma Inez Williams in Fort Worth, Texas, on June 22, 1899, her family soon moved to Los Angeles when she was still a young girl and completed her education there. Daniel Bradford Devore (May 14, 1860 – March 10, 1956) was a United States Army officer in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In World War I he became a brigadier general and commanded a regiment of the US army. Military career Devore was born on May 14, 1860, in Monroe County, Ohio. he graduated from the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, New York in 1885. His classmates included Willard A. Holbrook, Robert A. Brown, Robert Michie, Beaumont B. Buck, Henry P. McCain, Joseph E. Kuhn, Charles H. Muir, John D. Barrette, John M. Carson Jr., William F. Devore is an unincorporated community in the southwest portion of Taylor Township, Owen County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. It lies just south of the intersection of County Road 1000 North and County Road 100 East (a.k.a. "Chuck" DeVore (born May 20, 1962) is an American politician who served as a Republican member of the California State Assembly from 2004 to 2010 when he lived in Irvine and represented the 70th District, which includes portions of Orange County. DeVore was Vice Chair of the Assembly Revenue and Taxation Committee as well as Vice Chair of the Veterans Affairs Committee. Irven DeVore (October 7, 1934 – September 23, 2014) was an anthropologist and evolutionary biologist, and Curator of Primatology at Harvard University's Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology. Devoré (also called burnout) is a fabric technique particularly used on velvets, where a mixed-fibre material undergoes a chemical process to dissolve the cellulose fibers to create a semi-transparent pattern against more solidly woven fabric. The same technique can also be applied to textiles other than velvet, such as lace or the fabrics in burnout t-shirts. Devoré comes from the French verb ''dévorer'', meaning literally to devour.
