Devonte Wyatt
Devonte Malik Wyatt (born March 31, 1998) is an American football defensive end for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Georgia Bulldogs football, Georgia and was drafted by the Packers in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Early life and high school Wyatt grew up in Decatur, Georgia and attended Towers High School. He was rated a three-star recruit and initially committed to play college football at South Carolina before de-committing in favor of Georgia. Wyatt was ruled academically ineligible to play at Georgia and did not enroll. College career Wyatt began his collegiate career at Hutchinson Community College in order to meet the academic requirements to play Division I football. Georgia Bulldogs Football
The Georgia Bulldogs football program represents the University of Georgia in the sport of American football. The Bulldogs compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The 2021 NFL Draft was the 86th National Football League Draft, the annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2021 NFL season. The draft was held in Cleveland from April 29 to May 1, 2021. Five quarterbacks were selected in the first round — Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, and Mac Jones — the second highest number of first-round quarterback selections (along with the 1999 and 2018 drafts) after the six selected in 1983.
