Devon Myles William Brown (born 21 May 1992) is a South African swimmer who attended Highbury Preparatory School in Hillcrest. and Kearsney College in Botha's Hill. He competed at the 2014 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m), at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships, and at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, he competed in the 200 m freestyle and 400 m freestyle 4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. Swimming is an individual or team racing sport that requires the use of one's entire body to move through water. The sport takes place in pools or open water (e.g., in a sea or lake). Competitive swimming is one of the most popular Olympic sports, with varied distance events in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and individual medley. In addition to these individual events, four swimmers can take part in either a freestyle or medley relay. A medley relay consists of four swimmers who will each swim a different stroke, ordered as backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle.
