Devin Carter
Devin Carter (born March 18, 2002) is an American basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Providence Friars. Early life and high school career Carter initially attended Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colorado. He transferred to Doral Academy Preparatory School in Doral, Florida, after his freshman year, when his family relocated to Florida following his father, Anthony Carter, being hired as a player development coach for the Miami Heat. Carter's senior season was cut short due to a shoulder injury, and he opted to enroll at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, for a postgraduate year. South Carolina Gamecocks Men's Basketball
The South Carolina Gamecocks men's basketball team represents the University of South Carolina and competes in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Gamecocks won Southern Conference titles in 1927, 1933, 1934, and 1945, and then they gained national attention under hall of fame coach Frank McGuire, posting a 205–65 record from 1967 to 1976, which included the 1970 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) championship, the 1971 ACC Tournament title, and four consecutive NCAA tournament appearances from 1971 to 1974. Anthony Bernard Carter (born June 16, 1975) is an American basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the Miami Heat. He played college basketball for Saddleback College and Hawaii. Early life Born in Milwaukee, Carter played as a freshman on the varsity team of Alonzo A. Crim High School in Atlanta. However, after his freshman year, Carter quit high school. After leaving school, Carter spent his teenage years playing basketball for money in Atlanta. The ''Rocky Mountain News'' quoted Carter stating: "The dope man would put up the money, and we would play. We used to play for the drug dealers. That's how we were going to make our money.
