Didac Devesa
Didac Ángel Devesa Albis (born 30 December 1990) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Cypriot club Onisilos Sotira 2014. Club career Devesa was born in Esporles, Mallorca. He played youth football with local RCD Mallorca, going on to spend three full seasons as a senior with the reserves in the Segunda División B, the first being 2009–10. In late April 2012, Devesa was loaned to SD Ponferradina for two seasons, with the deal being made effective in the summer. He made his Segunda División debut on 1 September, starting in a 1–0 away defeat against Girona FC. On 1 July 2013, Devesa was released by Mallorca. Later in the month, he signed with Lleida Esportiu of the third level. Devesa terminated his contract on 5 January 2015, joining Football League Greece side Aiginiakos F.C. two weeks later. Domènec Ruiz Devesa
Domènec Ruiz Devesa (born 1978) is a Spanish politician of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) who was elected as a Member of the European Parliament in 2019. Political career Ruiz Devesa has since been serving on the Committee on Culture and Education and the Committee on Constitutional Affairs. Since 2021, he has been part of the Parliament's delegation to the Conference on the Future of Europe. In 2022, he was the parliament's rapporteur on a proposal for an overhaul of European election rules that would give all EU citizens aged 18 and older a greater role in choosing the Commission president, allow them to vote for pan-European MEPs and choose postal voting. In addition to his committee assignments, Ruiz Devesa is a member of the European Parliament Intergroup on Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development, the European Parliament Intergroup on LGBT Rights, the European Parliament Intergroup on Trade Unions and the Spinelli Group.

Susan Shaw Devesa
Susan Shaw Devesa (born June 24, 1944) is an American cancer epidemiologist who conducts descriptive research of the patterns of cancer in the United States. She was a section chief of descriptive studies at the National Cancer Institute. Life Devesa was born June 24, 1944, in Washington, D.C. She completed a B.A. in mathematics from Earlham College in 1966. She studied in France for a portion of her undergraduate degree. In 1966, Devesa joined the demography section in the biometry branch at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). She earned a M.H.S. (1974) and Ph.D. (1979) in epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health in 1974. Her dissertation was titled ''A study of the association of cancer incidence with income and education among whites and blacks''. Earl L. Diamond was her doctoral advisor.
