Devatha (1964 Film)
''Devata'' () is a 1965 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by B. Purushottam, presented by comedian Padmanabham and directed by K. Hemambharadhara Rao. It stars N. T. Rama Rao and Savitri, with music composed by S. P. Kodandapani. Plot Prasad and Seeta are a happily married couple. They have a son Madhu. Seeta is a dedicated daughter-in-law who cares for her in-laws. She learns that her father Seshaiah is sick and starts home by train. The train meets with an accident. Family members rush to the hospital where the occupants were taken and consult the officials, who were in charge of identifying the dead and treating the survivors, among the occupants of the train accident and are relieved to find out that Seeta is injured but alive and rejoice. She reaches home but is unable to identify any of them. Meanwhile, Seshaiah leaves his entire property in the name of Seeta and dies. Dr. Rukminamma is called for consultation. Padmanabham (actor)
Basavaraju Venkata Padmanabha Rao (20 August 1931 – 20 February 2010), known mononymously as Padmanabham, was an Indian actor, comedian, producer, and director who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He is known for his comic expressions and dialogues. In a career spanning over six decades, he acted in more than 400 films. Padmanabham made his film debut as a child actor in 1945 with ''Mayalokam''. ''Shavukaru'' (1949) was his first major hit and gave him a footing as a comedian. ''Pathala Bhairavi'' (1951) helped him find a permanent place in Telugu cinema. He acted in small roles alongside Relangi and Ramana Reddy in the golden era of Telugu cinema in the 1950s and 1960s. Anjali Devi
Anjali Devi (; 24 August 1927 – 13 January 2014) was an Indian actress, model and producer in Telugu and Tamil films. She was well known for her role as the Devi Sita in ''Lava Kusa'' as well as for the titular roles in movies like Chenchu Lakshmi, '' Suvarna Sundari'' and '' Anarkali''. Srirangam Srinivasa Rao (30 April 1910 – 15 June 1983), popularly known as Sri Sri, was an Indian poet and lyricist who is known for his works in Telugu literature and films. Madhavapeddi Satyam (11 March 1922 – 18 December 2000) was an Indian playback singer and actor who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. He entered films as a singer-actor in Y. V. Rao's Tamil-Hindi bilingual movie ''Ramadas'' in the year 1946, playing the role of Kabir. However, he became more popular as a playback singer due to his booming voice.
