Dev (TV Series)
''Dev'' is an Indian suspense drama television series produced by Peninsula Pictures. The series revolves around Dev Anand Burman, a detective battling inner demons. The crime stories are suggested by real-life cases. The first season premiered on 5 August 2017. Ashish Chaudhary, Sumona Chakravarti and Pooja Bose played the lead roles in this season. The first season ended on 12 November 2017 after the planned 27 episodes and was replaced by Entertainment Ki Raat. The second season began airing on 25 June 2018. Ashish Chaudhary, Amit Dolawat, Jigyasa Singh and Pooja Bose play the lead roles in this season. Inspector, also police inspector or inspector of police, is a police rank. The rank or position varies in seniority depending on the organization that uses it. Dev Anand
Dharamdev Pishorimal Anand (26 September 1923 – 3 December 2011), better known as Dev Anand, was an Indian actor, writer, director and producer known for his work in Hindi cinema, through a career that spanned over six decades. He was one of the most successful actors of Indian cinema and a part of "Trinity- The Golden Trio" along with Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2002 for his contribution to Indian cinema. He has won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor twice and Filmfare's Lifetime Achievement Award in 1993. A fast dialogue delivery style and nodding while doing do soon became the trademarks of Anand's acting in movies. His style was copied by other actors.
