Destruction (2019)
Destruction (2019) was a series of professional wrestling events promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). In 2019, NJPW promoted three events: Destruction in Beppu on September 15, Destruction in Kagoshima on September 16 and Destruction in Kobe on September 22. These were events twenty-one to twenty-three in the Destruction chronology. Production Background 2019 is the fourth consecutive year in which NJPW hold three events under the Destruction name. From 2007 to 2013 NJPW held one event per year, expanding to two shows in 2014 and to three shows in 2016. Storylines The three Destruction events featured nine professional wrestling matches each that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines. New Japan Pro-Wrestling

Manabu Nakanishi
is a Japanese retired professional wrestler and former amateur wrestler, who was primarily associated with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). He is a one-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, one-time G1 Climax winner and three-time IWGP Tag Team Champion. Nakanishi has always stayed based in Japan, but has wrestled for various other promotions including World Championship Wrestling, All Japan Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Noah and Pro Wrestling Zero1. is a Japanese professional wrestler, trained by and currently performing for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Young Lion Cup
__NOTOC__ The is an infrequent professional wrestling tournament promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) as a means of showcasing the younger talent on their roster. The tournament is the successor to the Karl Gotch Cup that NJPW promoted in the 1970s. NJPW has held the tournament eleven times since 1985. After the 2005 tournament, NJPW did not hold another Young Lion Cup for 12 years, until reviving the tournament in 2017 and again in 2019. The Young Lion Cup is a round-robin tournament in the same style as NJPW's annual G1 Climax tournament. Wrestlers traditionally earn two points for a victory, one point for any sort of draw and zero points for a loss.
