Desiree Vranken (born 28 June 1997) is a Dutch wheelchair racer who competes in T34 classification sprint events. Her most notable athletics achievement came at the 2012 Summer Paralympics The 2012 Summer Paralympics, branded as the London 2012 Paralympic Games, were an international multi-sport parasports event held from 29 August to 9 September 2012 in London, England, United Kingdom. They were the 14th Summer Paralympic Gam ... in London where she finished in third place to claim the bronze medal in the 200 metre sprint. Roermond (; li, Remunj or ) is a city, municipality, and diocese in the Limburg province of the Netherlands. Roermond is a historically important town on the lower Roer on the east bank of the river Meuse. It received town rights in 1231. Roermond's town centre has become a designated conservation area.
