Derrick Rutledge
Derrick Edwin Rutledge (born February 24, 1961) is an American celebrity stylist and makeup artist, singer and entrepreneur. He is most notably makeup artist to Oprah Winfrey and First Lady Michelle Obama. Derrick was born and raised in Washington, DC. His early education was at the prestigious Georgetown Day School in Washington. After which he received a music and academic scholarship to Webster University in St. Louis. Rutledge returned to Washington in 1984 and began working as a makeup artist. A wardrobe stylist, also fashion stylist, is a consultant who selects the clothing for published editorial features, print or television advertising campaigns, music videos, concert performances, and any public appearances made by celebrities, models or other public figures. Stylists are often part of a larger creative team assembled by the client, collaborating with the fashion designer, photographer/director, hair stylist, and makeup artist to put together a particular look or theme for the specific project. A wardrobe stylist can also be referred to as a fashion stylist, fashion editor, or celebrity stylist. Michelle Obama

Miss USA is an American beauty pageant that has been held annually since 1952 to select the entrant from United States in the Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Universe Organization operated both pageants, as well as Miss Teen USA, until 2020, when the organization announced it was licensing operation of the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants to Crystle Stewart, Miss USA for 2008.
