Derick Fernando Da Silva
Derick Fernando da Silva (born 16 May 2002), simply known as Derick (), is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Santos as a central defender. Club career Born in Santos, São Paulo, Derick joined Santos' youth setup in March 2015, from Sumaré. On 4 October 2018, he signed his first professional contract after agreeing to a three-year deal. On 8 September 2020, as starters Lucas Veríssimo and Luan Peres were suspended and immediate backup Luiz Felipe was injured, Derick was called up to the first team for a Série A match against Atlético Mineiro. He made his professional debut the following day, coming on as a second-half substitute for Madson in the 3–1 success at the '' Vila Belmiro''. Estádio Urbano Caldeira, also known as Vila Belmiro or Pelé, is an association football stadium located in the Vila Belmiro neighborhood of Santos, São Paulo, and the home of Santos Futebol Clube. The stadium was inaugurated on 12 October 1916, when Santos FC beat Clube Atlético Ypiranga 2–1, with Adolpho Millon Jr. scoring the first goal of the stadium. It was named in honour of Urbano Caldeira, former player, manager and chairman of Santos, in 1933. The stadium, given the nickname ''Vila Belmiro'' due to its location within the Vila Belmiro neighborhood, has been Santos' permanent residence since 1916. The Copa Paulista de Futebol, formerly known as Copa FPF, also sometimes called Copa Federação Paulista de Futebol or, in English, São Paulo State Cup, is a tournament organized by Federação Paulista de Futebol Company every second half of the season.
