Derek White (racing Driver)
Derek White (born December 9, 1970) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 13 Toyota Camry and No. 40 Dodge Challenger as an owner/driver for MBM Motorsports. In March 2016, White was arrested and charged for smuggling tobacco from the United States into Canada. He was eventually suspended indefinitely by NASCAR. Racing career Early career and regional stock car racing White spent 30 years drag racing in Canada, before deciding to switch to stock car racing in 2009. That year, he ran five races in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, with a best finish of 11th in his series debut at Autodrome Saint-Eustache. Road America
Road America is a motorsport road course located near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, United States on Wisconsin Highway 67. It has hosted races since the 1950s and currently hosts races in the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series, WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, IndyCar Series, SCCA Pirelli World Challenge, ASRA, AMA Superbike series, and SCCA Pro Racing's Trans-Am Series. NASCAR will replace Road America with street racing through Downtown Chicago starting in 2023. Current track and facilities Road America is a permanent road course. 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
The 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was the 20th season of the Camping World Truck Series, the third highest stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in North America. 2014 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Season
The 2014 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series season was the eighth season of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, which took place in the summer of 2014. The season consisted of 11 races at 10 different venues, of which 7 were held on ovals. It began with the Pinty's presents the Clarington 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on May 18 and ended with the Pinty's 250 at Kawartha Speedway on September 20. Scott Steckly entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin won his first series championship at Kawartha Speedway, finishing three points ahead of J. R. Fitzpatrick. Autodrome Saint-Eustache
The Autodrome Saint-Eustache was a motor sport complex in Saint-Eustache, Quebec, Canada. Established in 1965, it contained a paved oval and a paved road course with hot pits, grandstands and services. The oval circuit hosted NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly racing, with drivers racing for both the province (Quebec) and the rest of North America. Its premier event was the NASCAR Pinty's Series which raced at the track since the creation of the series. The track also formerly held CASCAR Super Series events. In an agreement with the City of Saint-Eustache, the property was sold to Hydro-Québec at the end of the 2019 racing season. The expanding infrastructure of the city of Saint-Eustache was cited as the main reason for the track's demise. 2009 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Season
The 2009 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series is the third racing season since the buy out of the CASCAR Super Series. Highlights The 2009 calendar is highlighted with a race added to Saskatchewan at the Auto Clearing Motor Speedway, a return to Delaware Speedway and the dates at Cayuga, Ontario removed. Important car changes are Joey Hanssen came from the Netherlands to run a second D. J. Kennington's car, J. R. Fitzpatrick has graduated to NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and will only run part-time and as well as American NASCAR star Cale Gale will run a couple of races.
