Derek Palmer Jr.
Derek Palmer Jr. (born 2 November 1986) is a British racing driver currently competing in the British Touring Car Championship. He made his debut in 2015. Racing career Palmer began his career in 2006 in the Dutch Supercar Challenge, he raced in the championship for three years from 2006-2008. In 2008 he switched to the GT4 European Series, he raced in the series up until 2010. In 2008 and 2010 he also raced in the British GT. In October 2014, it was announced that Palmer would make his British Touring Car Championship debut with Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing driving an Infiniti Q50. However, in May 2015, Infiniti withdrew their support and the team continued under the Support Our Paras Racing banner. Lanark
Lanark (; gd, Lannraig ; sco, Lanrik) is a town in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, located 20 kilometres to the south-east of Hamilton. The town lies on the River Clyde, at its confluence with Mouse Water. In 2016, the town had a population of 9,050. Donington Park
Donington Park is a motorsport circuit located near Castle Donington in Leicestershire, England. The circuit business is now owned by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation, and the surrounding Donington Park Estate, still owned by the Wheatcroft family, is currently under lease by MotorSport Vision until 2038. It has a capacity of 120,000, and is also the venue of the Download Festival. Originally part of the Donington Hall estate, it was created as a racing circuit during the period between the First and Second World Wars when the German Silver Arrows were battling for the European Championship. Castle Combe Circuit is a motor racing circuit in Wiltshire, England, approximately from Bristol. The circuit is based on the perimeter track of a former World War II airfield, and was opened for racing in 1950. History The Castle Combe airfield opened in May 1941 on land of the Castle Combe estate, owned by the Gorst family, and operated as RAF Castle Combe for seven years before being decommissioned in 1948. During the war, the airfield was a training ground for pilots. From 1946 to 1948 the buildings served as a resettlement camp for Polish ex-service personnel. The property was returned to the Gorst family in 1948; with the Bristol Motorcycle & Light Car Club, they organized the first race in July 1950. By 1955 the property was divided and sold. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Type 940) is a small family car (C-segment) manufactured and marketed by Alfa Romeo as a 5-door hatchback. Aiden Moffat (born 28 September 1996) is a British racing driver currently competing in the British Touring Car Championship for Laser Tools Racing. He became the youngest driver ever to compete in the BTCC when he made his debut at the Knockhill round of the 2013 season. Rockingham Motor Speedway is a former racing motorsport venue in Rockingham, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom, near the town of Corby. Knockhill Racing Circuit is a motor racing circuit in Fife, Scotland. It opened in September 1974 and is Scotland's national motorsport centre. Snetterton Circuit is a motor racing course in Norfolk, England, originally opened in 1953.
