Derek McGrath (born June 4, 1951) is a Canadian actor and writer. Life and career McGrath was born in Timmins, Ontario. His career began as Linus in ''You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown''. He is known for his roles in '' Cheers'' as Andy Schroeder (the would-be strangler of Diane Chambers), Oswald Valentine in ''Dallas'', Dr. Benjamin Jeffcoate in ''My Secret Identity'', Crewman Chell in '' Star Trek: Voyager'', and as Dr. Derek Hebert in ''Doc''. McGrath also played Buck the dog in a fantasy sequence in a second-season episode of '' Married... with Children'', a game show host in a third-season episode of ''Family Matters'', and a mutant in the 1993 comedy film ''Freaked''. ''Iggy Arbuckle'' is an animated series that premiered in Canada on Teletoon in June 2007. Based on a comic strip from National Geographic Kids, the show is created by Guy Vasilovich, and focuses on a pig (Iggy Arbuckle) who happens to be a forest ranger, known in the series as a "Pig Ranger". The plot involves Iggy's attempts to protect the environmental structure of the fictional Kookamunga National Park. It was produced by Blueprint Entertainment, in association with C.O.R.E. toons, National Geographic Kids, and Teletoon and distributed by Oasis International. The series was cancelled on October 10, 2007 after a single season. The series also aired in Australia on ABC Kids, in the United Kingdom on Jetix, and on Pop. ''Spliced'' is a Canadian animated television series produced by Nelvana in association with Teletoon that first aired from September 19, 2009 to March 13, 2010 in the United States. Plot ''Spliced'' is a modern take of H. G. Wells' 1896 science-fiction fantasy, ''The Island of Doctor Moreau''. Spliced marginally distorts Wells' characters in this modern twist by making the mutants the result of genetic experiments created by recombinant DNA rather than Wells' original vivisection process.
