Meridian Depot Historic District
There are nine historic districts in Meridian, Mississippi. Each of these districts is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. One district, Meridian Downtown Historic District, is a combination of two older districts, Meridian Urban Center Historic District and Union Station Historic District. Many architectural styles are present in the districts, most from the late 19th century and early 20th century, including Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, Italianate, Art Deco, Late Victorian, and Bungalow. East End Historic District East End Historic District is roughly bounded by 18th St on the north, 11th Ave on the east, 14th St on the south, and 17th Ave on the west. A semi-triangular shaped section extends from the southern edge roughly occupying the area between 16th and 14th Avenues. Depot Historic District is a national historic district located at Marion, McDowell County, North Carolina. The district encompasses five contributing buildings associated with the Southern Railway depot at Marion. The buildings date from about 1894 to about 1935. Depot Historic District (Raleigh, North Carolina)
The Depot Historic District is an industrial and commercial neighborhood in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina that was the city's railroad and warehouse distribution hub from the 1850s to 1950s. Located two blocks west of Fayetteville Street and to the north and east of the Norfolk and Southern railroad tracks, the district contains four blocks of 35 brick buildings that date from the 1880s to early 1950s. The district encompasses the southwestern portion of Raleigh's original 1792 town plan and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. Nash Square, one of four parks in the city's original plan, is located on the northern edge of the Depot District. The square's Beaux-Arts walkways and gates offer a stark contrast to the surrounding industrialism. Raleigh's former Union Depot sits across from Nash Square. Eight railroad tracks are located in the southwest corner of the district. The Amtrak station and the Freight Depot sit on opposite sides of the tracks. ...

Developed in the mid-19th century around the facilities of the Central Vermont Railway, the area features a high concentration of well-preserved Second Empire and late Victorian commercial architecture. Description and history The town of Randolph is located in the White River valley of central Vermont, roughly midway between Montpelier (the state capital) and White River Junction, a commercial and industrial center on the Connecticut River.
