Walim (german: Wüstewaltersdorf, until 1917 ''Wüste Waltersdorf'') is a village in Wałbrzych County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Walim. It lies approximately south-east of Wałbrzych, and south-west of the regional capital Wrocław. The town is notable for 300-year-old timber framed houses. Geography Walim is situated in the north-west of the Owl Mountains, along the Voivodeship Road 383, which leads from Jugowice over the ''Przełęcz Walimska'' pass to Dzierżoniów.
