Deon McCauley
Deon McCaulay (born 20 September 1987) is a Belizean international footballer who plays as a forward for Atletico Atlanta of the United Premier Soccer League, the Rome Gladiators of the National Indoor Soccer League, and the Belize national team. Club career McCaulay has played in Belize for Kremandala, FC Belize and Belize Defence Force; in Costa Rica he had a trial with Puntarenas; he played in Honduras for Deportes Savio from 2009-2011. He has also played for Belmopan Bandits in the Premier League of Belize. In February 2013 he had a trial with the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer. In March 2014 he joined the Atlanta Silverbacks of North American Soccer League. After a two-year spell back in Belize with Verdes FC, McCaulay rejoined the Atlanta Silverbacks in March 2017. Belize City
Belize City is the largest city in Belize and was once the capital of the former British Honduras. According to the 2010 census, Belize City has a population of 57,169 people in 16,162 households. It is at the mouth of the Haulover Creek, which is a distributary of the Belize River. The Portland Timbers are an American professional men's soccer club based in Portland, Oregon. The Timbers compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league's Western Conference. The Estadio Cuscatlán is a football stadium located in the city of San Salvador, El Salvador. It was inaugurated in 1976. It can hold 53,400 spectators, making it the stadium with the largest spectator capacity in Central America and the Caribbean. Montserrat National Football Team
The Montserrat national football team represents the small Caribbean island of Montserrat in the CONCACAF football region. Football is the second most popular sport in Montserrat, after cricket. The team plays at the Blakes Estate Stadium, near the village of Look Out. The Montserrat football team was formed in 1973, and has entered the World Cup qualifiers since the 2002 edition, being eliminated in the first round on each occasion. Due to the heavy volcanic activity on the island since 1995, the team has only played a handful of matches, and most of those have been away from home. The 2013 Copa Centroamericana was the 12th Copa Centroamericana, the regional championship for men's national association football teams in Central America. It was organized by the ''Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol'' or UNCAF, and took place in Costa Rica from 18 January to 27 January 2013. The top five teams go on to participate in the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The tournament consisted of two stages. In the group stage of the tournament finals, the seven teams competed for points in two round-robin groups, one of four teams and the other of three, with the top two teams in each group proceeding. 2007 UNCAF Nations Cup
The 2007 UNCAF Nations Cup was the ninth version of the biennial football tournament for the CONCACAF national teams of Central America. The event took place in San Salvador, El Salvador from February 8 to February 18, 2007. It was the second time El Salvador hosted the competition. The tournament also served as a qualifying process for the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Costa Rica won the tournament on penalty kicks after a 1–1 draw with Panama in the final. It was Costa Rica's sixth title out of nine tournaments played. Panama reached the UNCAF final for the first time but also lost on penalty kicks in the final of the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2005. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries.
