Deon Anderson
Deon Terry Anderson (born January 27, 1983) is a former American football fullback in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of Connecticut. Early years Anderson attended Portsmouth Abbey School, before he was expelled because of a campus incident. He transferred to Hope High School after his sophomore season, where he spent one year. He played football, basketball and was a track and field, honing his running skills under the legendary Hope High School track coach Thom Spann. He transferred after his junior season to Avon Old Farms Prep, where he spent 2 years and was a three-sport letterman. A fullback (FB) is a position in the offensive backfield in gridiron football, and is one of the two running back positions along with the halfback. Fullbacks are typically larger than halfbacks and in most offensive schemes the fullback's duties are split among power running, pass catching, and blocking for both the quarterback and the other running back. Many great runners in the history of American football have been fullbacks, including Jim Brown, Marion Motley, Bronko Nagurski, Jim Taylor, Franco Harris, Larry Csonka, John Riggins, Christian Okoye, and Levi Jackson. Hope High School (Rhode Island)
Hope High School is a public high school in the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island, U.S. operated by Providence Public School District. It was founded in 1898. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured. Injured reserve lists are used because the rules of these leagues allow for only a certain numbers of players on each team's roster. Oliver Hoyte (born October 5, 1984) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at North Carolina State. Early years Hoyte attended Chamberlain High School, where was a three-time All-conference and a two-time All-state selection. As a senior he posted 153 tackles (98 solo) and 5 sacks, while helping the team reach the Class 5A state championship game. Syndric Marquis Steptoe (born December 6, 1984) is a former gridiron football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
