Deno Michael Mebrahtu (born 23 September 2002), known mononymously as Deno, is a British singer, songwriter, rapper and actor from London. His parents are originally from Eritrea, and he was raised in South London. He came to the forefront of London's afro-wave music scene beginning in 2018 with a number of viral music videos and hit songs. Music career Beginnings (2016–2017) Deno attended Evelyn Grace Academy in Brixton, London. In 2016, a friend of Deno asked him to freestyle and sing on his Snapchat after school. This was posted to Instagram with the "#imjustbait" hashtag. He gained thousands of followers. Deno ( bg, Дено) is a peak in the eastern part of the Rila Mountain in southwestern Bulgaria. It is 2,790 m high and is the fourth highest summit in the mountain range behind Musala (2,925 m), Malka Musala (2,902 m) and Irechek (2,852 m). It is built up of gneiss and granite–gneiss. The northern slope is steep, while the southern one is oblique and covered in grass. A deep gully descends along the north-western slopes that holds perennial firn. To the west is situated the valley of the Musala Bistritsa, a tributary of Bulgaria's longest river, the Iskar and Musala refuge; to the north-east is situated the Saragyol Cirque that contains three glacial lakes. Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park is a family-owned amusement park located at Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York City. It features six adult rides and 16 kiddie rides, including a dozen family rides that parents and children can ride together. The park is named for its main attraction, the Wonder Wheel, a eccentric wheel built in 1920. The park overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and Riegelmann Boardwalk along the Coney Island beach. The Wonder Wheel was made a New York City designated landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1989. History The Wonder Wheel predates the park, having opened in 1920.
