Denny Hill And Liz Hill
Dennis "Denny" Hill is a hall-of-fame swim coach who coached at Pioneer High School (Ann Arbor, Michigan) for 46 years (1969-2014 Men's Head Coach and 1973-2010 Women's Head Coach). During this tenure as coach, Pioneer High School won 31 Michigan High School State Swim Championships (15 for the men and 16 for the women) and 9 National Dual Meet (Power Points) Championships. The combined teams' overall dual meet record was 1011-128-2 (567-90 for the men and 444-38-2 for the women. The swim program produced 245 National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) All-American Swimmers for a total of 862 All-American awards. Denny's wife, Elizabeth "Liz" Hill began coaching with him in 1983 and became co-head coach of the Pioneer men's and women's swim teams in 2005. Kara Lynn Joyce
Kara Lynn Joyce (born October 25, 1985), is an American former competition swimmer and four-time Olympic silver medalist. She competed as a member of the United States Olympic Team at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympics. Early years Joyce was born in Brooklyn, New York. She split her high school years between Irondequoit, New York at Eastridge High School, Webster, New York and Ann Arbor, Michigan, where the family relocated to in 2001. It was in Ann Arbor that Joyce began training with Club Wolverine under Jon Urbanchek. Joyce also chose to compete for her high school team, the Ann Arbor Pioneers. In her senior year of high school, she set five Michigan high school state records, four of which were national high school records at the time. Alison Gregorka
Alison Gregorka (born June 29, 1985) is an American water polo player. She started playing at the age of 14. She was a member of the US water polo team that won a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She is now coaching high school water polo in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She also appeared on the show '' Wipeout'' on ABC during the winter version of the show. Career Gregorka played NCAA women's water polo at Stanford University. In June 2009, Gregorka was named to the USA water polo women's senior national team for the 2009 FINA World Championships. Gregorka also made an appearance on ABC's ''Winter Wipeout'', Season 4, Episode 1, where she won a $1,000 bonus for remaining on "The Ski Lift" the longest.
