Dennis Fregger
Dennis Fregger (born August 13, 1942, Idaho Falls, Idaho) was on the team (also including Joan Shogren and Mike Mathis) that produced the "serious" clip art images. These black and white, bitmapped images were the first ones designed for business/organizational use and were published by T/Maker as "ClickArt Publications" in 1984. Fregger also produced the Macintosh graphics for '' Solitaire Royale'', published by Spectrum Holobyte in 1987. Clip art (also clipart, clip-art) is a type of graphic art. Pieces are pre-made images used to illustrate any medium. Today, clip art is used extensively and comes in many forms, both electronic and printed. However, most clip art today is created, distributed, and used in a digital form. T/Maker
T/Maker (Table Maker) was one of the first spreadsheet programs designed for the personal computer user and released by Peter Roizen in 1979. The application ran on CP/M, TRSDOS, and later on MS-DOS computers. T/Maker was originally distributed by Lifeboat Associates of New York. T/Maker took a different approach to most other spreadsheets: instead of embedding formulas in each cell, formulas were defined on a per-row and per-column basis in the margins. Although T/Maker was released six months after VisiCalc, it was perhaps the first application to provide an 'office' suite approach to data. ''Solitaire Royale'' is a collection of solitaire games published by Spectrum HoloByte in 1987 for the Apple IIGS, MS-DOS, Macintosh, and Amiga. The eight games included are "3 Shuffles and a Draw", "Pyramid", "Golf", "Corners", "Reno", "Klondike", "Canfield", and "Calculation". There are also three children's games: "Pairs", "The Wish", and "Concentration". Gameplay ''Solitaire Royale'' is a computer solitaire card-game simulation which features colorful card-back designs, digitized sounds of cards shuffling, and eight solitaire games. The game features a tournament competition where the challenge is to accumulate the highest total score upon playing all eight games in a row, with the two combatants receiving exactly the same deal. Aptos, California
Aptos (Ohlone for "The People") is an unincorporated town in Santa Cruz County, California. The town is made up of several small villages, which together form Aptos: Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley, Aptos Village, Cabrillo, Seacliff, Rio del Mar, and Seascape. Together, they have a combined population of 24,402. History Aptos was traditionally inhabited by the Awaswas tribe of Ohlone people. The name is one of only three native words that have survived (in Hispanicized form) as place names in Santa Cruz County (the others are Soquel and Zayante). The first European land exploration of Alta California, the Spanish Portolá expedition, passed through the area on its way north, camping at one of the creeks on October 16, 1769.
