Denmark In The Eurovision Song Contest 1995
Denmark was represented by Aud Wilken, with the song "Fra Mols til Skagen", at the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 13 May in Dublin. "Fra Mols til Skagen" was chosen as the Danish entry on 25 March. Before Eurovision Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 1995 The final was held at the DR TV studios in Copenhagen on 25 March 1995 and hosted by Sidsel Agensø and Gry la Cour. Eleven songs competed in the contest and the winner was selected by the votes of a five-member jury over two rounds. In the first round, the top five songs were selected to advance to the second round of voting, which led to the victory of Aud Wilken with the song "Fra Mols til Skagen" by a 2-point margin. Voting was extremely tight, with only 7 points separating the top five songs. The show was watched by 1.1 million viewers in Denmark, making it the most popular show of the evening and second most popular show of the week. Aud Wilken
Aud Saskia Wilken (born 1965 in East Berlin) is a Danish-German singer, best known for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995. Early life and career Wilken was born to a Danish father and German mother, and lived in East Germany until 1974, when the family moved to Denmark. Her musical debut came in 1988, on the album ''Midnight at the Grooveyard'' by post-punk band The Overlords. She then appeared on The Poets' self-titled album in 1990. In the same year of 1990 she took part in the recording of the song "I Love You Love Me Love" as featuring artist for Danish musician Master Fatman. This song was written by Aud along with Morten Lindberg. Eurovision Song Contest In 1995, Aud participated at Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. Lars Muhl is a Danish writer, mystic and musician, born in Aarhus, Denmark in 1950. For many years, Lars Muhl was a successful singer-songwriter in Denmark. Concurrently with his music career, he has engaged with self-studies of comparative religion, esoteric knowledge and philosophy since 1965, and from 1988 he has focused on Aramaic, Christian and Jewish mysticism. Morten Mabunda Lindberg (; 23 September 1965 – 26 March 2019), also known as "Master Fatman", was a Danish media personality and creative, including comedian, taxi driver, performer, disc jockey, host, musician, singer, film maker, actor, and benefactor. Elin Alberte Leonora Winding (born 23 August 1963), commonly known as Alberte, is a Danish singer and actress, and the daughter of Thomas Winding and Lulu Gauguin.
