Denmark participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy, with " The Show" performed by the band Reddi. The Danish broadcaster DR organised the national final ''2022'' in order to select the Danish entry. Eight songs competed in a televised show where "The Show" performed by Reddi was the winner as decided upon through two rounds of public voting. Denmark was drawn to compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 10 May 2022. Performing during the show in position 12, "The Show" was not announced among the top 10 entries of the first semi-final and therefore did not qualify to compete in the final. Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (), also known as Melodi Grand Prix or simply DMGP, is an annual music competition organised by the Danish public broadcaster Danmarks Radio (DR) since 1957, which determines the for the Eurovision Song Contest. Patrick Dorgan is a Danish soul and R&B singer signed to Copenhagen Records. His debut single "On the Way Down" charted among top three on Hitlisten, the official Danish singles chart. Ben and Tan are a Danish duo consisting of Benjamin Rosenbohm (born 3 June 2002) and Tanne Balcells (born 15 January 1998). Tich (singer)
Rachel Clare Furner (born 1 July 1992), known by her stage name Tich, is an English singer and songwriter signed to Universal Music Publishing. She originally performed as an artist under Tich and as Rachel Furner, signed to Mercury Records. Background Furner was born in Reading and grew up in Northampton. She began to learn to play the piano at the age of six. By age 11 she started to write her own songs about her struggles at school, these experiences inspired her to write a song called Sticks and Stones which she recorded and uploaded to Myspace. In 2006 she became a member of Youth Music Theatre UK joining the Missing Melanie company at London's Greenwood Theatre. At age 15, she got her first record deal with Mercury Records. Jon Gade Nørgaard (born 9 June 1985 in Grenå, Denmark) is a Danish singer who took part in Danish TV 2's musical competition ''Popstars'' in 2002 and winning the title. DR P3 (referred to in Denmark simply as P3) is a Danish current-based hit music radio station operated by the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. It is broadcast on FM radio, DAB, and Internet radio.
