Sinpaş Denizli Basket, also known as Pamukkale Üniversitesi Basketbol Kulübü was a Turkish professional basketball club. It was based in Denizli and played in the Turkish Basketball First League. The team was founded by the Pamukkale University Youth Sports Club in 2006. The club changed its name to Denizli Basket in 2014. Their home arena was Pamukkale University Arena in the PAU Kınıklı Campus, with a capacity of 5,000 seats. The team was sponsored bSinpaş a construction company in Turkey. The team was dissolved in 2016. History Denizli Basket was founded as Pamukkale Üniversitesi Gençlik ve Spor Kulübü by Pamukkale University in 1998. The club participated in EBBL in 1998–99 season for the first time in their history. It was a successful season and they advanced to TB2L. Turkish Basketball League (TBL)
The Turkish Basketball First League, also called TBL, is the second-tier level league of professional club basketball in Turkey. The league was previously known as Turkish Basketball Second League (TB2L). Format and promotion and relegation There are a total of 16 teams participating in the league for the ''2019–20 TBL season''. Each team plays each other in their group twice during the regular season. Team finishes at first place promotes to the top-tier level Turkish Basketball Super League (BSL) for the next season, teams ranked 2nd place to 9th place, compete in playoff format and winner of the playoff also promotes. Robert Rothbart ( he, רוברט רות'בארט, born Boris Kajmaković on June 16, 1986) is a Bosnian-Israeli professional basketball player playing the position of center for Elitzur Eito Ashkelon of the Israeli National League.
