Denisa Golgotă
Denisa Golgotă (born 8 March 2002) is a Romanian artistic gymnast. She won two medals at the 2018 European Championships – a silver on floor exercise and a bronze on vault. Personal life Denisa Golgotă was born on 8 March 2002 in Alimpești, Gorj County. In 2016, she was awarded the title of citizen of honor of Alimpești by local authorities. Junior career 2015 At her first Romanian National Championships, Golgotă won bronze with her team, and individually, she won gold on vault, placed sixth on floor and eighth in the all-around and on balance beam. 2016 Golgotă made her international debut at the International Gymnix in Montreal, Canada. She finished fourth on vault, fifth with her team, and twenty-second in the all-around. Golgotă won a team gold medal against Belgium at the Belgium Friendly along with teammates Olivia Cimpian, Carmen Ghiciuc, Ioana Crisan, and Alisia Botnaru. 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held in Stuttgart, Germany from October 4–13, 2019. The championships took place at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, and was the third time the city of Stuttgart hosted the event following the 1989 and 2007 editions, and the fifth time Germany hosted it. As of October 2, 92 federations registered gymnasts for the event with a total of 288 men and 259 women. Sam Mikulak of the United States and Mélanie de Jesus dos Santos of France won the Longines Prize for Elegance. Both mark a first for their respective countries: de Jesus dos Santos is the first gymnast from France to win this prize, and Mikulak is the first male gymnast from the United States to win one. Ioana Andreea Stănciulescu (born 18 February 2004) is a Romanian artistic gymnast. She competed as a junior from 2017 to 2019. Stănciulescu won the floor exercise at the 2018 European Championships. She was the 2019 European Youth Olympic Festival team and floor exercise silver medalist and uneven bars bronze medalist. At the 2019 Romanian National Championships, she won the gold medal in the all-around. Nina Derwael ( ; born 26 March 2000) is a Belgian artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic champion, a two-time World champion (2018, 2019), and a three-time European champion (2017, 2018 & 2025) on the uneven bars. She also is the 2019 European Games and 2025 European champion on the balance beam. She represented Belgium at the 2016 Summer Olympics and at the 2020 Olympics. The 2018 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships was the 48th edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from October 25 – November 3, 2018, at the Aspire Academy Dome in Doha, Qatar. It was the first time that the competition was held in the Middle East.
