Denis Galimzyanov
Denis Ramilyevich Galimzyanov ( tt-Cyrl, Денис Рамил улы Галимҗанов, russian: Денис Рамильевич Галимзянов; born 7 March 1987 in Yekaterinburg, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union) is a former Russian racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI ProTeam . He obtained a major victory in the classic Paris–Brussels in 2011, where he imposed himself in a massive sprint after 218.5 kilometers of racing. Doping On 16 April 2012, Galimzyanov was provisionally suspended by the UCI, after testing positive for EPO in an out-of-competition drugs test in March. He admitted the charge the next day and said he took sole responsibility and had acted without the knowledge of his team. In December, it was announced that Galimzyanov was suspended for two years, starting retroactively on 13 April 2012. He did not return to the peloton after completion of the ban. The Four Days of Dunkirk (french: Quatre Jours de Dunkerque) is road bicycle race around the Nord-Pas de Calais region of northern France. Despite the name of the race, since the addition of an individual time trial in 1963, the race has been held over a 5 or 6 day period for most of its history. Memorial Rik Van Steenbergen (previously GP Rik Van Steenbergen) is a single-day road bicycle race held annually in September in Arendonk, Belgium. The race, paying respect to the famous Belgian rider of the 1940s and 1950s, quickly gained importance and since 2005, it is a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour. The race was canceled in 2013 and again in 2014 because the organizers were unable to raise sufficient funding and subsequently disappeared permanently from the calendar before being revived for 2019. In contrary to the previous editions, the race will now be held in Arendonk where before it was held in Aartselaar. The 2011 Tour of Beijing was the inaugural running of the Tour of Beijing cycling stage race. It started with an individual time trial around the Beijing Olympic Village on 5 October and finished at the Bird's Nest on 9 October. The race covered across Beijing over five stages, and was the first race to be owned by Global Cycling's governing body, the Union Cycliste Internationale, a move which raised some controversy. It was the 25th race of the UCI World Tour season. The race was won by rider Tony Martin, after winning the opening time trial stage and maintaining his advantage to the end of the race. The 2011 Three Days of De Panne ( nl, 2011 KBC Driedaagse van De Panne-Koksijde) was the 35th edition of the Three Days of De Panne, an annual bicycle race. Taking part in and around the De Panne region of West Flanders, it began in Middelkerke on 29 March and finished in De Panne two days later.
