"Demon Speeding" is the second official single from Rob Zombie's second album '' The Sinister Urge'' and can also be found on his compilation album '' Past, Present & Future''. Chris Vrenna, formerly of the band Nine Inch Nails, remixed the song in 2002. This version of the song is entitled "Demon Speeding (Black River Mix)" and can be found on the NASCAR sponsored compilation album entitled ''NASCAR: Crank It Up'' and also in the video game ''FlatOut 2'' along with Feel So Numb. The audio sample heard at the beginning of the song, "Why don't you ask me what it feels like to be a freak?", is from the film ''The Amazing Colossal Man''. It has also featured on the ''Kerrang!'' Vol. 3 album, however, it was incorrectly named as "Dead Girl Superstar." Rob Zombie (born Robert Bartleh Cummings; January 12, 1965) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, filmmaker, and voice actor. John Tempesta
John Tempesta (born September 26, 1964) is an American drummer known for his work in hard rock and heavy metal. He has been a member of the Cult since 2006. Biography Previously, Tempesta played with several bands including Exodus, Testament and White Zombie. He worked with former White Zombie singer Rob Zombie as a solo artist and served as drum technician for Charlie Benante, drummer for the heavy metal band Anthrax earlier in his career. He is referenced in Anthrax's rendition of "Friggin' in the Riggin'" (from their 1989 EP ''Penikufesin''), with lyrics about the band's crew members. Additionally he also played the role of the "Not Man" during Anthrax's early live shows footage of which can be seen in the "Antisocial" music video. Rob "Blasko" Nicholson (born November 24, 1969) is an American bassist. He performed on Rob Zombie's solo albums and is currently part of Ozzy Osbourne's band. He is also noted for his contribution as bassist to metal band Cryptic Slaughter within underground metal circles. "Dead Girl Superstar" is a promotional single taken from Rob Zombie's second album '' The Sinister Urge''. Zombie considered the song to be a sequel to " Living Dead Girl" from his previous album, ''Hellbilly Deluxe''. It was also featured on the ''Kerrang, Vol. 3'' compilation album in 2002. The song's guitar solo is played by Kerry King of Slayer fame. It is one of the few songs on the album to contain a solo. The song contains audio samples from the 1974 Isaac Hayes film ''Truck Turner''. The song also appears in the game ''Warzone 2100''.
