Demolition War
''Demolition War'' is the first EP released by the anarcho-punk group Subhumans. It was originally released on Spiderleg Records in 1981, and was also released as part of the ''EP-LP An extended play record, usually referred to as an EP, is a musical recording that contains more tracks than a single but fewer than an album or LP record.

Subhumans (UK Band)
Subhumans are an English punk rock band formed in the Warminster and Melksham areas of Wiltshire in 1980. Singer Dick Lucas had formerly been in another local band, the Mental, and other members had been in The Stupid Humans. The band's musical style is typically classified as hardcore punk or anarcho-punk. History The band was formed in 1980, guitarist Bruce and drummer Andy were accompanied by original bassist Grant, previously from the band Audio Torture. The band were initially known as Superhumans due to insistence from Bruce's mother, but changed their name to Subhumans when Dick joined the band later the same year. By the end of 1980, drummer Andy had left and was replaced by Trotsky. The band released a demo in 1981. It was heard by members of the band Flux of Pink Indians, after being sent to them by Graham Burnett of the ''New Crimes'' fanzine, and the band were so impressed that they offered Subhumans a record release on their newly founded label Spiderleg Recor ...

Spiderleg Records
Spiderleg Records was an independent record label founded by UK anarcho-punk band Flux of Pink Indians in 1981. The band set up the label after releasing their first EP on the Crass Records label, which taught them the skills necessary to run such a project and provided them with the seed cash. In turn, the band not only used the label to release their own material, but gave opportunities to like-minded punk bands to put out records, including The Subhumans, who in a similar fashion set up the Bluurg label. Others that released records on Spiderleg included The System, Amebix and Antisect. The first record to be put out was a re-recording of older material made when the band were known as The Epileptics (they changed the name to EPI-X following complaints from the British Epilepsy Association and eventually emerged as Flux of Pink Indians having reverted to The Epileptics and then The Licks). Dick Lucas (singer)
Dick Lucas (born 1961) is a British vocalist and lyricist of several punk rock bands. He is best known for being a member the British anarcho-punk band Subhumans, and the ska-punk band Citizen Fish that he co-founded in 1990. Biography Lucas started his career as a vocalist in The Mental from March 1979 to August 1980. He then joined the Subhumans in September 1980. With the breakup of Subhumans in the mid 1980s came another band, Culture Shock, from 1986, followed by a short silence from Lucas, after which he co-founded Citizen Fish. In 1995, Lucas's abstract novel Write The Way Up was published (an audio version of which was released in 2012 by Bluurg Records).
