Demetric Evans
Demetric Untrell Evans (born September 3, 1979) is a former American football defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins and the San Francisco 49ers. He also was a member of the Cologne Centurions in NFL Europe. He played college football at the University of Georgia. Early years Evans attended Haynesville High School. He was a three-year starter and helped his team win 3 consecutive state titles from 1994 to 1996. As a senior, he was a two-way tackle, collecting 75 tackles (28 for loss), 12 sacks and 25 quarterback pressures. He received All-district, All-state, and AA Defensive Player of the Year honors. In 2007, Evans' jersey was retired by the school. Evans also played basketball and averaged 15 points and 9 rebounds per game as a senior. Defensive End
Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. Phillip Daniels
Phillip Bernard Daniels (born March 4, 1973) is a former American football defensive end and coach who most recently served as defensive line coach for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round of the 1996 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Georgia. Daniels has also played for the Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins. Early years Daniels attended Seminole County High School (Donalsonville, GA) and lettered in football, basketball, and baseball. 2003 NFL Season
The 2003 NFL season was the 84th regular season of the National Football League (NFL). Regular-season play was held from September 4, 2003, to December 28, 2003. Due to damage caused by the Cedar Fire, Qualcomm Stadium was used as an emergency shelter, and thus the Miami–San Diego regular-season match on October 27 was instead played at Sun Devil Stadium, the home field of the Arizona Cardinals. 2002 NFL Season
The 2002 NFL season was the 83rd regular season of the National Football League. The league went back to an even number of teams with the addition of the Houston Texans; the league has remained static with 32 teams since. The clubs were realigned into eight divisions, four teams in each. Also, the Chicago Bears played their home games in 2002 in Champaign, Illinois at Memorial Stadium because of the reconstruction of Soldier Field. The NFL title was won by Tampa Bay when they defeated Oakland in Super Bowl XXXVII, at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California on January 26, 2003. The 2001 NFL Draft was the 66th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible professional football players. The draft, which is officially referred to as the "NFL Player Selection Meeting," was held at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York on April 21–22, 2001. Each team is assigned one pick per round with the order based generally on the reverse order of finish in the previous season with the team with the worst record receiving the first draft slot.
