Demet Bozkurt
Demet Bozkurt (born February 20, 1996) is a Turkish Association football, footballer. She was part of the Turkey women's national under-19 football team in 2015. Private life Demet Bozkurt was born in Sarıyer district of Istanbul Province, Turkey on February 20, 1996. Through her footballer career, she was able to enter the Marmara University to study physical education. Playing career Club Bozkurt's curiosity for playing football started at a young age. Her mother told her that she might not continue to play football unless she received her school' good marks. She worked hard, and received good marks. Her mother took her then for registration at the local sports club. Bozkurt obtained her license from Kireçburnu Spor in her hometown on October 1, 2010. She became a defender, where she played all season. Kireçburnu Spor
Kireçburnu Spor Women's Football ( tr, Kireçburnu Spor Kulübü Bayan Futbol Takımı) is a women's football team based in Kireçburnu, Sarıyer, Istanbul playing in the Turkish Women's First Football League. It was formed in 2010 as part of the 1951-established Football Club. Kireçburnu Spor is the only women's team among the 30 football clubs around in Sarıyer district. Club's current chairman is Yaşar Kalander. The team finished the 2014–15 season in the Turkish Women's Second Football League as runners-up and was promoted to the Women's First League to play in the 2015–16 season. The Turkish Women's Regional Football League ( tr, Kadınlar Bölgesel Futbol Ligi) was the third-level league competition for women's association football in Turkey. History The Women's Regional League was established in 2009 launching its first season in the 2009–10. It was replaced by Turkish Women's Third Football League in 2014. Format At the 2010–11 season, 23 teams competed for promoting to the Women's Second League. They were divided into 4 groups according to their geographical location. In each group, teams play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format. After folding all teams were promoted to Women's Second League. ''Sabah'' is a Turkish daily newspaper, with a circulation of around 330,000 as of 2011. Its name means "morning" in Turkish. The newspaper was founded in İzmir by Dinç Bilgin on 22 April 1985. In 2007, the government of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan seized the newspaper, citing a legal document that had not been disclosed to authorities when ''Sabah'' was sold in 2001. Ownership of the newspaper was given to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund of Turkey. Some of the newspaper's staffers were fired, and the paper was then sold to the Turkuvaz Media Group belonging to Çalık Holding whose CEO, Berat Albayrak, is the son-in-law of Erdoğan and whose chairman, Ahmet Çalık, has been described as a "close associate" of Erdoğan. The Turkish Women's Football Super League ( tr, Kadınlar Süper Ligi), formerly the First Women's Football League (also known as the ''Turkcell Women's Football Super League'' for sponsorship reasons), is the top level women's football league of Turkey. In the 2022–23 season, one group of 10 teams and one group of nine teams play a double round robin and finals to decide a champion club, which qualifies for a spot in the UEFA Women's Champions League. 2019–20 Turkish Women's First Football League
The 2019–20 season of the Turkish Women's First Football League is the 24th season of Turkey's premier women's football league. The league season started with the first week matches on 20 October 2019, and the regular season will conclude with the 22nd week matches on 3 May 2020. The number of participating teams was increased from ten to twelve again after eight seasons. Trabzon İdmanocağı was relegated after the previous season due to not show-up. The promoted Women's Second League teams are Adana İdmanyurduspor of Adana, Fomget Gençlik ve Spor from Ankara and Kocaeli Bayan FK of İzmit. Four teams from Istanbul continue to take part in the 2019–20 season. 2018–19 Turkish Women's First Football League
The 2018–19 season of the Turkish Women's First Football League is the 23rd season of Turkey's premier women's football league. The league season started with the first week matches on 21 October 2018. The regular season concluded with the 18th week matches on 28 April. 2019. Ten teams competed with two promoted teams, ALG Spor of Gaziantep and Hakkarigücü Spor from Hakkari, which replace the relegated teams 1207 Antalyaspor and İlkadım Belediyesi Yabancılar Pazarı Spor from Samsun. Four teams from Istanbul continued to take part in the 2018–19 season. As the teams Beşiktaş J.K. and ALG Spor finished the regular season equal on points, a play-off match was scheduled at aneutral venue.
