Delroy Taylor
Delroy Bertram Taylor (born 30 June 1975) is a former Jamaican cricketer. Taylor was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born in St Catherine, Jamaica. Having played Youth Test and Youth One Day Internationals for West Indies Under-19s, Taylor made a single first-class appearance for Jamaica against the touring English county of Lancashire in 1996. In this match, he took the wicket of Michael Atherton in Lancashire's first-innings for the cost of 65 runs from 10 overs, while in Lancashire's second-innings he took the wicket of Warren Hegg for the cost of 35 runs from 7 overs. In Jamaicas first-innings, Taylor scored 60 runs before he was dismissed by Mike Watkinson, while in their second-innings he was dismissed by the same bowler for 20. Mike Watkinson
Michael Watkinson (born 1 August 1961) is a former English cricketer who played four Test matches and one One Day International in the mid-1990s. A right-handed batsman and right-arm bowler of either medium-pace or off-spin, he was instrumental in Lancashire County Cricket Club's successes in the 1990s, later becoming the county's director of cricket. He showed early promise as an all-round sportsman, excelling in both cricket and football, and achieving good standards in golf and basketball. He demonstrated that good hand, ball and eye co-ordination can be applied to many sports, and thus it is no surprise that he was able to make his living through sport. Watkinson attended Westhoughton County Primary School, and Rivington and Blackrod High School. Douglas Tafadzwa Hondo (born 7 July 1979) is a former Zimbabwean cricketer, who played nine Test matches and 56 One Day Internationals as a right-arm medium-fast swing bowler, and is distinctive for his dreadlocks. Early career Hondo was first introduced to cricket at primary school, his elder brother being the first in the family to take up the game. Hondo and his brother were under the guidance of Peter Sharples, a pioneer of taking cricket into the townships, or "high-density suburbs" as they are known in Zimbabwe. He coached the Queensdale Primary School team which consisted mainly of players who had no family background in the game due to the Rhodesian racist policies. The British Universities cricket team was a cricket team whose players were drawn from university students studying in Great Britain. The team played under the title of Combined Universities until 1995. The team played List A cricket from 1975 to 1998 and first-class cricket from 1993 to 2006. Paul Franks
Paul John Franks (born 3 February 1979) is a former English professional cricketer. He played a single One Day International (ODI) as a right-arm pace bowler for England, and had a long career in county cricket for Nottinghamshire. Playing career The Nottinghamshire-born all-rounder first broke into the side as a 17-year-old in 1996. He remained a key member of the Nottinghamshire side for over a decade, despite injuries and loss of confidence. He was part of both 2005 and 2010's Nottinghamshire County Championship winning sides. He was played extensively for the club's Second XI, helping them win the county trophy in 2015, and captained them after his retirement from first-class cricket, which he announced in late 2015.
