	Andy Delmore Andrew J. Delmore (born December 26, 1976) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. Delmore played 283 games in the National Hockey League (NHL), recording 43 goals and 58 assists for 101 points. He was considered an offensive defenceman, valued for his proficiency on the power play. He is currently an assistant coach with the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL. Playing career A 6'0" defenceman, Delmore played junior hockey for the North Bay Centennials and later for the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He went undrafted in 1997 and signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Flyers, making his NHL debut during the 1998–99 season. He is the 1998 World Junior champion, the 2000 Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist, 2000 Karl Schäfer Memorial bronze medalist, and 1999 U.S. National Collegiate champion. Personal life Derrick Delmore was born on December 12, 1978 at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. In 1995, he was awarded the Paderewski medal for a decade of playing classical piano at the national level. 	Vic Delmore Victor "Deacon" Delmore (October 21, 1915 – June 10, 1960) was a baseball umpire who worked in the National League from 1956 to 1959. He is perhaps best known for his involvement in an incident during a 1959 game where two baseballs were in play at the same time. Career From 1935 to 1942, Delmore pitched in the minor leagues, most notably with the Hopkinsville Hoppers in 1937. His professional umpiring career began in 1948 in the KITTY League. He worked in the Southern Association from 1949 to 1955. Following his promotion to the National League in 1956, he worked a total of 618 games through the 1959 season. During those four seasons, he issued 14 ejections, including Cincinnati Reds manager Birdie Tebbetts three times.
