Delmar MetroLink Station (Delmar Loop Trolley)
Delmar Loop is a St. Louis MetroLink station. This station is adjacent to the Delmar Loop entertainment district that straddles St. Louis and St. Louis County and includes 362 park and ride spaces. Nearby attractions include the restored Tivoli Theater as well as the Pageant concert venue along with the numerous restaurants and shops that line Delmar Boulevard. Directly adjacent to the stop is the North Campus of Washington University in St. Louis. The Loop Trolley system, a heritage streetcar service that travels along Delmar Boulevard and DeBaliviere Avenue to Forest Park, and operates from about April to October, has a stop adjacent to the entrance of the MetroLink station. Shiloh–Scott Station
Shiloh-Scott is a St. Louis MetroLink station. Located adjacent to Scott Air Force Base in Shiloh, Illinois, this station is the eastern terminus of the MetroLink system. It opened on June 23, 2003, as part of Phase 2 of the St. Clair County Extension, which extended MetroLink from College to Shiloh-Scott. The Shiloh-Scott station is the terminus for the St. Clair County Transit District's 14 mile (22.5 km) MetroBikeLink shared-use path system. The 2.9 mile (4.7 km) segment connecting the College station to Shiloh-Scott was opened in 2017. Forest Park–DeBaliviere station is a St. Louis MetroLink station. It is located at the northeast corner of Forest Park Parkway and DeBaliviere Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri and is designated as the primary transfer point for riders between the Red and Blue lines. History The station opened on July 31, 1993, as one of the original stations in the MetroLink system. It was originally constructed with side platforms and a single entrance serving the westbound platform. Access to the eastbound platform required walking the length of the westbound platform and crossing the tracks at the end. Delmar Boulevard Station
Delmar Boulevard station, also known as Delmar station, is a former railroad station on Delmar Boulevard in the West End neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. The Wabash Railroad opened it in 1929 as part of grade separation project which raised Delmar Boulevard over its tracks. Delmar Boulevard was one of several Wabash branch stations in St. Louis, but had special importance as a transfer station for intercity passengers. The Norfolk and Western Railway, successor to the Wabash, closed the station in 1970. The MetroLink's Red Line was built over the former Wabash right-of-way and passes underneath the station. The Wabash Railroad was a Class I railroad that operated in the mid-central United States. It served a large area, including track in the states of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Missouri and the province of Ontario. Its primary connections included Chicago, Illinois; Kansas City, Missouri; Detroit, Michigan; Buffalo, New York; St. Louis, Missouri; and Toledo, Ohio.
