Della Russel Ocloo is a Ghanaian journalist, communications and media personality. Della is currently the reporter at Graphic Communications Limited in the Tema Municipality. She was also a convenor of a demonstration against the Nana Akufo-Addo's government named the 'FixTheCountry'. Career in journalism She is the Tema regional reporter for the Daily Graphic. Assault In August 2019, she was assaulted by some members of Glorious Wave International Church at Sakumono for reporting on a protest that was conducted against Badu Kobi, the church's pastor. She was threatened during the coverage. The police was later called and she got arrested. She was asked to delete the images she took of the scene on the activities of the church. Tema Metropolitan District
Tema Metropolitan District is one of the twenty-nine districts in Greater Accra Region, Ghana. Originally created as a municipal district assembly in 1988 when it was known as Tema Municipal District, which was created from the former Tema District Council, until two parts of the district were later split off to create Adenta Municipal District (from the northwest part) and Ashaiman Municipal District (from the north central part) respectively on 29 February 2008; thus the remaining part was elevated to metropolitan district assembly status on that same year to become Tema Metropolitan District. Nana Akufo-Addo
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ( ; born 29 March 1944) is a Ghanaian politician who has served as the president of Ghana since 7 January 2017. In 2020, he was re-elected for his second term, which will end on 6 January 2025. Akufo-Addo previously served as Attorney General from 2001 to 2003 and as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2007 under the Kufuor-led administration. Sakumono
Sakumono is a small town before Nungua from Ashaiman. It is in the Tema Metropolitan district, a district in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. It was originally a small fishing village on a lagoon, but by 2008 is being swallowed up as the twin cities of Nungua and Tema merge. Elevation is 71m. Sakumono is one of the interesting towns, also known as Community 13. It has the main township which is close to the beach and lagoon.
