Odisha Football Club () is an Indian professional football club based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, that competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. Prior to the inaugural Indian Super League season, the club was founded as ''Delhi Dynamos Football Club''. The club renamed to Odisha Football Club, as it moved to its current base, the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Raj Athwal, former commercial head of Rangers, Watford, and Coventry City, currently serves as the club president. Naveen Patnaik (born 16 October 1946) is an Indian politician serving as the current and 14th Chief Minister of Odisha. He is also the president of the Biju Janata Dal, a writer and has authored three books. The 2019–20 Indian Super League season was the sixth season of the Indian Super League, one of the top Indian professional football leagues. The regular season began on 20 October 2019 and concluded on 14 March 2020. Hyderabad replaced the disbanded Pune City, whereas Delhi Dynamos moved to Bhubaneswar and rebranded as Odisha. Bengaluru were the defending champions, having won their maiden Indian Super League title by defeating Goa 1–0 in the 2018–19 final. This was also the club's last season as ''Delhi Dynamos FC'' before relocating to Odisha to get rebranded as Odisha FC. The 2016 Delhi Dynamos FC season was club's third season since its establishment in 2014 and also their third season in the Indian Super League. Background After the end of the 2014 ISL season, Delhi Dynamos parted ways with their inaugural season head coach, Harm van Veldhoven. Soon after, Roberto Carlos, was named as the new head coach for the 2015 season. The season began for Delhi Dynamos with a 2–0 loss to the Goa on 4 October. The team ended the season with six wins through fourteen matches and qualified for the finals. In the finals, the Delhi Dynamos took on Goa.
