Sébastien Delfosse (born 29 November 1982) is a Belgian former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2008 and 2018 for the and teams. He has also worked as a directeur sportif for Belgian amateur team Pesant Club Liégeois. Career Born in Oupeye and prior to turning professional, Delfosse also competed for the team. Having previously taken a podium finish at the 2012 Classic Loire Atlantique, Delfosse achieved his first two professional UCI victories within the space of a week, in May 2013. His first victory came at the Circuit de Wallonie in Lambusart, when he managed to fend off the rest of the field and soloed to victory, having been part of the early breakaway of the race. The following weekend, Delfosse won the 1.1-rated Rund um Köln in Cologne, after again featuring in the race breakaway. Ana Delfosse
Ana Delfosse was an Argentinian race-car driver and Formula One mechanic who worked for Grand Prix champion Juan Fangio and later became the first woman to win a pure-speed auto race in Argentina. Born in 1931 near Punta Arenas, Chile, she grew up on a sheep farm in Argentina. Enamored of speed at an early age, she rode a horse called Blitz (German for "lightning"). Watching Fangio driving by the ranch in his racing car led to her involvement with racing cars. At the age of 16, she became part of Fangio's pit crew and later became a driver, racing in the Andes and elsewhere. On June 5, 1960, she won a race in Buenos Aires, driving a Porsche Gordini. Noël Joseph Auguste Delfosse (; 9 March 1801 – 22 February 1858) was a Belgian lawyer, industrialist and liberal politician. Biography Delfosse graduated as a doctor in Law at the University of Liège and started his career in Liège as an attorney. He was selected as a liberal representative in the municipal council after the Belgian Revolution in 1830, and in 1836 to the Provincial council of the Province of Liège and in 1840 as a representative of Liège into the Belgian Chamber of Representatives, and in 1848 was elected vice-president of the chamber and remained in this office until 1852. His decisive character and his talent as a convincing speaker, supported his political influence in the years 1848 and 1849, where he mainly tried to secure Belgium from the influences of the French movement.
