Félix Delamarche
Félix Delamarche was a French geographer and engineer who flourished during the 18th century and early 19th century. His father was the map publisher Charles Francois Delamarche. Félix Delamarche became the owner of his father's map publishing company, Maison Delamarche. He ran the company alongside cartographer Charles Dien. The firm would eventually be passed down to Alexandre Delamarche. Delamarche created ''Atlas de la géographie ancienne et moderne'' in 1820. The atlas was reprinted during the 19th century. It was utilized by the Ecole Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr. Olivier Delamarche (born 9 February 1966) is a French economic analyst known for being the columnist for the television show ''C'est Cash'' on RT France. Biography A former member of the French Society of Financial Analysts (SFAF), Delamarche was an analyst and then a sales trader for Pinatton, Wargny and Leven. He created his own Sicav in 2004, then in 2005 a management company called ''Platinium Gestion'' which he sold in 2014. From 2009 to 2017, he was a weekly columnist on BFM Business BFM Business (called BFM for ''Business FM'' until April 2009 and BFM Radio until November 2010) is France's first business news channel. Charles François Delamarche
Charles-François Delamarche (August 1740 – 31 October 1817) was a French geographer and mapmaker. One of the most important French geographers and mapmakers of the second half of the eighteenth century. Successor to Nicolas Sanson (1600–1667), Robert de Vaugondy (1686–1766), and Rigobert Bonne (1727–1794), whose atlases he reprinted. Also taught geography. In addition to maps and globes, his works include a treatise on the use of the sphere and celestial and terrestrial globes. In the treatise, he illustrates both the Ptolemaic and Copernican systems, as well as listing all the ancient and modern constellations. His son Félix Delamarche (18th century – 1st half 19th century) continued his work.
